HISTORY
DB Logistics Group has its beginnings in
Botany NSW in 2000. Trading then as DB Logistical
Solutions, our team of four could draw upon over 60 years experience in
all aspects of the business. In a very short period, DB managed
establish itself as a genuine player in the industry, developing a
sizable and loyal client base by offering rates comparable to the bigger
companies, with a service and attention to detail that bigger
companies would only frown upon.
Personalised service is our commitment.
In 2003, DB was renamed DB Logistics Group. A move a year later to larger premises saw DB move
into Warehousing & Distribution. The objective: to provide a Total Logistics Management
package to existing and potential clients. The product range entrusted into our care
was diverse and included products for Aircraft maintenance, glass
panelling for heating, and
lighting equipment for the film and television industry.
Towards the end of 2010, DB scaled back many of its activities, so as to concentrate on its
core business areas of Customs Brokerage and International Freight.
This change in direction coincided with a move to new premises.
While no longer active in Warehousing & Distribution, DB maintains firm
relationships with its long standing service providers so as to continue
to provide and advise clients with the most efficient and cost effective
solution to their logistics requirements.
Today,
DB Logistics Group has a global footprint but remains a 100% accessible
and a wholly owned
Australian company.
